About Hawa Mahal
Built in 1799 so royal women could watch street processions unseen. The five-storey pink sandstone facade is one of Rajasthan's most iconic. The interior is small — most travellers photograph from the Tattoo Cafe rooftop opposite, which has the perfect head-on angle.
